Our other features are on new projects to protect the Elan Valley's natural heritage & to tackle invasive species within the BBNP.

the kingdoms with articles on amphibian and reptile surveys, bee conservation,
hare and rabbit numbers and some good-old balsam bashing. Amidst this we’ve a
new BIS team member to introduce, and can proudly announce the launch of our

Autumn issue of the Powys and Brecon Beacons National Park Recorders’ Newsletter.
Thanks again to all the contributors of articles and lovely photos on a wide
range of subjects. I am amazed to see this is the 20th edition of the
newsletter so it has been running for 10 years. Time flies and next year we can
celebrate 15 years of BIS!!
