Farms and their farmland can host a wide variety of
bird species. This informative talk will show you the birds that are likely
to make their home on the farm, what their habitat requirments are and how
you can identify the great variety of farmland birds.
This event is in partnership with the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) and will enable you to take part in their Big Farmland Bird Count on 5th-14th February. Find out more about taking part in the GWCT Big Farmland Bird Count at www.bfbc.org.uk.
This event is one of a series BIS are running to promote the wildlife that makes its home within the Brecon Beacons National Park (BBNP) and is thanks to funding from the Brecon Beacons National Park and CLIF bar. Although it's focus is on the BBNP and promoting wildlife to individuals and communities within the Park the topics covered will be equally valid across Wales and the UK.
