The tools below may be useful in helping you make biological records.

Grab a Grid Reference Duo (BNHS)

This very useful tool provided by the Bedfordshire Natural History Sociey (BNHS) allows you to rapidly locate a grid reference using either a Google aerial map or an OS map. This can be invaluable when locating or double checking grid references whilst recording wildlife.

Find your Local Environmental Records Centre (LERC)

If you are unsure which Local Environmental Records Centre covers your area this tool will alow you to find out. You can simply navigate to a point on the map and search - the tool will tell you which LERC you need to contact and provide you the contact details. Please note: this tool only works within Wales.

Ordnance Survey Coordinate Transformation Tool

This tool allows for rapid transformation of eastings and northings to OS GB grid references. It also handles Lat/Long (in a variety of formats) and cartesian coordinates.
