Our Powys & Brecon Beacons National Park Recorders Forum is a chance to hear about biodiversity and biological recording related projects & events in Powys & the Brecon Beacons and for you to meet the BIS team, albeit virtually.

All are welcome to join this free event which brings together wildlife enthusiasts and biological recorders across the BIS area during our 20th anniversary year.

This years forum will be our first online, using Zoom Webinar to bring you four talks with Q & A and a fifth session on a topic of your choosing from our selected Breakout Rooms.

Join us for a morning on Wednesday 24th November, starting at 0930 and with regular breaks finishing by 12:15pm.

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary see and hear some of the highlights over the past two decades and what the future may hold, along with talks on Peatland, Lichens and the Emerging Technologies - new methods of recording the natural world. We'll hear about three projects in Powys and the Brecon Beacons National Park and you'll have a chance to choose a fifith sessions on a topic of your choice from our four Breakout Rooms. The Breakout Room topics are; Winter Recording, Hints & Tips when using the LERC Wales App & BIS Wired, Using the Aderyn 'public' tools and Photographing Insects to get an Identification.
