Trees & Woodlands of Wales Day Seminar - Events

The campaign for the Protection of Rural Wales in association with Coed Cadw / Woodland Trust in Wales have a 1 day seminar in Llandrindod Wells on Sunday 10th November, 10am to 4pm. Speakers include the woodland ecologist & author George Peterken and Archie Miles, the renowned tree author and photographer. The seminar will look at the future of woodland ecosystems in Wales.

Border Bryologists - Mosses & Liverworts for beginners - Events

There are 3 meetings in the BIS area, which are to help beginners learn their mosses and liverworts, rather than high-powered recording sessions. All are on Sundays, and start at 10.30 a.m. unless stated otherwise. Please bring lunch.

Nature Recovery Action Plan for BBNP - Newsletters (Other)

Green Drinks Builth Wells - Events

An informal & inspiring social gathering (in a pub!) for anyone who wants to be involved with, working on, or studying environmental issues.

It's happening on the third Wednesday of every month, starting on Wednesday 15th May 2019 with the first meeting.

At the Greyhound Hotel, Builth Wells, 7pm – 9pm.

A Free event unless you buy yourself a drink!

BIS will be there along with the Vincent Wildlife Trust, who will talk about their Pine martin project.

Invertebrate Conservation Value of Colliery Spoil Habitats in South Wales - Newsletters (Other)
